Belgium, France, Germany and Greece have all announced a second round of lockdowns with Italy and Spain announcing tighter measures and restrictions such as curfews as the closure of catering and recreational establishments.
UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has also announced a second lockdown in the UK following a surge in cases across the continent.
