Taking to social media, Love Island Malta Season 1 contestant Kyle Curmi urged for compassion as the new contestants are being revealed.
‘Just remember that the Love Island contestants are not robots; they have feelings, they have families.’
‘Just because we are free to write anything we want doesn’t necessarily mean we can bully the person.’

‘Let’s be nice to people; remember these fillings take hours, and they only show a couple of seconds to engage with the audience. You will try to avoid comments, but you’ll come across some even if not wanting.’
‘Just keep in mind if that were your brother, sister, or child being laughed at, I’m sure you would not want them to be cyberbullies. These contestants go on such shows for the experience, not to be tortured with hate.’
