Civil Protection Malta Control Wildfire In Wied Għomor

Civil Protection Malta Responded to a wildfire in Wied Għomor earlier this week, with firefighters from stations 2, 3, 8 and 11 convening at the valley to address the emergency.
‘Thanks to their swift and coordinated efforts, the fire was successfully brought under control, and no injuries were reported’, Civil Protection Malta reported in a statement.
CPD Malta extended its gratitude to all supporting agencies and individuals involved in the response, including the Emergency Fire & Rescue Unit, St John Ambulance & Rescue Malta, The Malta Police Force, Mater Dei Hospital Emergency Department and CPD Malta Volunteers.
