Cardi B calls off divorce from Offset

After multiple reports of Cardi B’s separation from Offset and her filing for divorce, the female rap star has called off the divorce and withdrawn the relevant documents.

It seems that the 28-year-old has reconciled with her husband, Offset of the Migos.

On an Instagram Live stream, she said “I just be starting to miss him. It’s hard not to talk to your best friend.”

1,295 fines handed out to people caught not wearing masks

From over 2,800 inspections held last week in relation to mask-wearing, 1,295 fines were given out to people caught without a mask in public. 

These fines were given out from Monday 26th October to Sunday 1st November, in a practice which is complementing other measures of enforcement such as works held by the police, the MTA and the health authorities. 

Chief Executive for LESA, Svetlick Flores explained that the community has also taken an active role in assuring the wearing of masks across the board.

Local comedian to host 6 nights of socially-distanced stand-up comedy

Local actor and stand-up comedian Kevin Naudi will be hosting 6 nights of ‘comedy, music, food & drink’ at Chukkas starting from the 7th of November.

The socially-distanced event will feature special guests which include the likes of Ron Briffa and Valentina Rossi in a knee-smacking 18+ event called ‘It’s My Life’. 

With the desperate need for a good laugh and a promise of a ‘whole new approach’, this is an event we definitely don’t want to miss.

106 COVID-19 cases registered overnight with 108 recoveries

Malta has registered 106 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours from 2,816 swab tests, while 108 patients have recovered. This information was announced by the official Facebook page of Malta’s Ministry for Health.

From yesterday’s cases; 23 cases were family members of previously known cases, 10 cases were contact of positive work colleagues, 2 cases were direct contacts with other positive cases, 1 case was imported and 2 cases were from social gatherings with other positive cases.

To date, Malta has registered 6,506 COVID-19 cases in total, of which: 4,505 have recovered, 64 died and 1,937 are still active.
