Car Crashed While Owner Was Feeding Stray Cats Says Son

Taking to social media, Maverick Baldacchino, the son of the woman who owned the Ħamrun salon into which a car crashed yesterday morning, thanked everyone for the support his family is receiving.
‘A tragedy was avoided as no one was injured. The accident happened when my mum went to feed the stray cats’, he said, going on to call it a miracle.
Baldacchino stated that the driver was allegedly heavily intoxicated with alcohol when the accident happened. He wrote that he hopes to see justice take place as it could have resulted in the death of his mother and her clients.
The shop is set to continue operating today with the usual hours, explained Maverick.
