Jan 21 2021 Share

Amid the current COVID-19 struggles going on in England, the National Health Service (NHS) have converted two London buses into ambulances to transport patients.

Single-decker buses have been stripped of their seats to carry more patients in an attempt to relieve ambulances and hospitals from their intense pressure with doctors, nurses,  medical staff and volunteers to contribute to the cause.

The vehicles were loaned from bus company Go-Ahead and have been equipped with medical equipment such as infusion pumps, monitors and the sort to observe patients in their trips to and from homes and hospitals.
