The festival will take place on Friday 26 and Saturday 27 September, showcasing local talent across a variety of streets, gardens, and alleyways throughout Bormla. The event is supported financially through a scheme provided by the Local Government Division.

Parliamentary Secretary Alison Zerafa Civelli highlighted that the festival is not only a cultural event but also a demonstration of community collaboration, providing opportunities for both emerging and veteran local actors to showcase their skills.
She emphasised that the financial support offered by the Local Government Division encourages local councils to organise innovative cultural activities, benefiting not only residents but also Maltese and Gozitan visitors.
The Parliamentary Secretary said, “Local councils play a central role in the development and promotion of our communities. I am proud that through the funding schemes offered by the Local Government Division, we can help councils organise high-quality cultural activities. Our goal is to create a sustainable model so that events like this can continue year after year.”

Mayor Marco Agius added, “In recent years, the Local Council has promoted a range of activities, both cultural and recreational. We want Bormla to be adorned with more of these initiatives. To encourage attendance from outside the locality, we have arranged a Park & Ride service operating from 7 PM to 11 PM at Verdala School, Santa Margerita College, as well as bus stops at San Ġwann T’Għuxa, San Pawl, and in front of the San Ġorġ band club.”

Also present at the announcement were Emil Vassallo, Director General for Local Councils, Director Marisa Pisani, local councillors, and participating artists.
