Mattel, AirConsole, and BMW Group are bringing the popular card game UNO to in-car gaming, debuting at gamescom 2024 in Cologne, Germany.
This comes after Mercedes-Benz announced plans to collaborate with Boosteroid to integrate the gaming app into its “MBUX Entertainment Package Plus’.

This innovative version, titled UNO® Car Party, will be available on over 500,000 BMW and MINI vehicles starting August 21, 2024, via the AirConsole platform.
This collaboration transforms UNO into a connected gaming experience within vehicles, allowing up to four players to participate using their personal devices while the car is stationary. The game aims to enhance in-car social interaction during road trips or pit stops.
AirConsole CEO Anthony Cliquot emphasized the unique gameplay that allows each player to privately view their cards on their phones while the main game is displayed on the car’s infotainment system.
Mattel’s Erika Winterholler noted that UNO’s simple yet engaging gameplay is “ideal for in-car entertainment.”
