At just 20 years of age, superstar songstress continues to put the wheels of culture in motion with every single move she makes and her latest collaboration with apparel giant Nike is driving fans crazy.

The ‘Happier Than Ever’ singer posted a video & a few photos to her social media accounts revealing the new Billie Eilish x Nike apparel. The earthy apparel set includes a pair of off-white ‘Mushroom’ Air Force 1s with velcro straps over the laces. Nike’s website highlights that the sneakers were designed with sustainability in mind, utilising environmentally-friendly materials whilst celebrating collection classics.

The music superstar is set to headline Coachella this weekend and stated “it was an honor to reimagine the originals while making them my own & i can’t WAIT for them to be yours. the collection launches april 24th on store.billieeilish.com and april 25th on the nike SNKRS app”.

Lead suspect in Qormi murder case arrested by Police; to be questioned today

The Malta Police Force have reportedly arrested the lead suspect in an ongoing murder case, where 62-year-old was found dead in his car in Qormi.

Times of Malta have reported that the suspect, whose identity has not yet been revealed, was taken into police custody at 7pm Wednesday evening and will be questioned on Thursday. The Police currently have 4 different individuals in custody related to the murder but the suspect in question is the lead suspect.

On Wednesday night, an individual was arrested in Attard, a woman in Mosta and a man and woman in Msida were also arrested, with the police confiscating multiple items of interest.

The victim’s body was found in the trunk of his Peugeot 407 with multiple stab wounds after passers-by reported a considerable stench emanating from the car. The police have asked that anyone having information related to the crime call 21224001 or 119.

Newly elected Labour MPs Rebecca Buttigieg and Alicia Bugeja Said will be sworn in as parliamentary secretaries on Thursday.

Buttigieg was elected through a casual election on the 9th district, whereas Bugeja Said was elected through the gender corrective mechanism. 

Butigieg will be appointed parliamentary secretary for reforms and equality within Byron Camilleri’s Home Affairs Ministry. 

Meanwhile, Bugeja Said, who is a former director of Malta’s fisheries department, will become parliamentary secretary for fishing and aquaculture within Anton Refalo’s Agriculture Ministry. 

This comes after the Prime Minister announced after the swearing in of cabinet members that two women MPs were poised to join his cabinet. The two will be joining Miriam Dalli, Julia Farrugia Portelli and Alison Zerafa Civelli in cabinet.
