Looking to gift a wonderful mother for Mother’s Day, Ben Camille was asked by eight-year-old Henry’s mother Lorinda to surprise her son with a huge giveaway. Henry was born with a lack of abdominal muscle, with 50% of kids born with said condition dying at birth. Henry has undergone 13 medical operations throughout his life, but despite this he is an immensely joyful and vibrant soul.

For ‘Ben Camille Chats’, the local personality surprised Henry with a free giveaway from Klikk Computers Malta, where he got to choose any gadget he wished for, with the boy seizing the opportunity to have more of his favourite Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS games. Well done Ben Camille for the kind gesture! And we are looking forward to your challenge with Henry on Mario Kart!

In an investigation carried out by Popolin, it was discovered that 52% of Maltese youth do not use contraceptives when engaging in sexual activity. Researching sexual education and resources allocated to prevent the spread of sexually transmitted diseases, it was discovered that 43% of males and 61% of females of 15-years-and-up do not mind not using contraceptives such as condoms or pills.

In reference to previous studies concerning the 2018-2019 scholastic year, 31 female students ended up pregnant – 17 of these at 16-years-old, 11 at 15-years-old and 3 at the age of 14. Popolin spoke to PSCD education official Stephen Camilleri, who stated that education regarding these topics should begin at primary as one’s sexual identity begins to develop the course of one’s entire life.

Virologist Chris Barbara stated that due to the health restrictions put in place for the mitigation of COVID-19, use of antibiotics dropped by over 40%. Speaking during an interview on TVAM regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr Barbara stated that despite the vaccine rollout being a success, groups of people meeting up in big crowds is still a premature decision. This, according to Dr Barbara, could lead to further spreading and spikes in cases.

He reminded the public that even those who have been vaccinated can carry and spread the virus to others. Speaking about wearing masks, he exclaimed that it will not be required for a long time and it will come down to the individual whether or not to practice the measure once the official health restriction is lifted.

She associates this with the message of the song itself which is completely about empowering women to feel confident in their own skin. She ended her message by telling women that they are all immensely beautiful and that they themselves be confident with how they look.
