August Moon Ball Raises Funds For Malta Community Chest Fund

Hundreds of people joined this year’s August Moon Ball to support the Malta Community Chest Fund.

The event included new decorations like pavilions and banners showing coats of arms from different Grandmasters. These added a festive feel and celebrated the history of Verdala Castle. The flowers also matched the beautiful building and artwork.

A special dance by the YADA Dance Company, led by Felix Busuttil, brought the legend of the Blue Lady to life, which is said to appear at the castle.

The Malta Armed Forces Band played as usual, making the event lively. They were joined by the Big Band Brothers and singers Jessica Magro, Jessica Micallef, Daniel Cauchi, and Jolene Samhan.

The President of Malta, Her Excellency Myriam Spiteri Debono, thanked the volunteers, staff, and sponsors who helped make the event a success.
