Żebbuġ Rangers Football Ground Upgraded After €15,000 Investment

Infrastructure upgrades at Żebbuġ Rangers have been completed following a €15,000 investment funded by the Maltese Council for the Voluntary Sector, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen community organisations.
During a site visit, Inclusion and Volunteering Minister Julia Farrugia inspected extensive refurbishment works addressing structural damage caused by water infiltration.
Repairs focused on deteriorated roofs and walls within the changing rooms, which had posed safety risks to players, coaches and volunteers.
The project included new tiling, waterproofing and general refurbishment, resulting in safer and more functional facilities.
Farrugia stressed that quality infrastructure is vital for grassroots sport, ensuring young people have a secure environment to train and develop.
Club representatives welcomed the intervention, noting it prevents further deterioration and supports continued community use.
Meanwhile, MCVS Chief Executive Mauro Pace Parascandalo praised the club’s commitment, highlighting the importance of volunteer-driven initiatives in strengthening Maltese society.
