Żabbar Halloween Lantern Festival Returns This Weekend

The Zabbar Halloween Lantern Festival is returning on 1 November. Organised by MMG Promotions in collaboration with Visit Malta and Żabbar Local Council, this will be the fifth edition of the festival, taking place in the Biccieni Alleys from 18:00 onwards.

Over the years, the festival has grown in popularity, offering visitors a family-friendly way to enjoy Halloween. Attendees can explore the alleys, which have been transformed with spooky decorations and creative street installations.

A canopy of lanterns will light up the main section of the festival, while artistic exhibitions and displays will be found throughout the area.

Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities including Trick or Treating from local residents, a Halloween Costume Street Party with DJs, live performances by professional entertainers, photo booths, and a dedicated children’s area.

This year, the festival will introduce a Horror House, an immersive attraction featuring jump scares and a spooky setting. The suggested age for this attraction is 14 and above.

The Zabbar Halloween Lantern Festival provides fun for all ages while celebrating the spirit of Halloween in a safe and engaging environment. Entrance to the event is free, and further information is available on the official festival Facebook page.
