Youths Photographed Sitting & Smoking On Valletta’s Bastion Edge

A pair of youths were photographed sitting on the edge of Valletta’s St John’s Bastion, despite the dangerously long drop right beneath them.
The photo was captured by Din l-Art Ħelwa member Daniel Cilia, with Talk News saying that the photographer appealed for such dangerous stunts to be avoided.
The drop leads to the Valletta ditch and is several metres high, making it extremely dangerous to be such a spot.
According to Cilia, who spoke to Times of Malta, the pair sat around smoking for 10 minutes, with one of them even standing up immensely close to the edge.
Some commenters have called for railings to be installed so as to avoid any incidents.
