Youths Celebrate Creativity And Community Spirit At St Paul’s Bay Festival

Young people came together to celebrate creativity, talent and community spirit during a festival held at Kennedy Grove, St Paul’s Bay, to mark International Youth Day.

The festival was designed and organised by a group of young volunteers, with the support of the Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector (MCVS) and the European Union Programmes Agency (EUPA).

Held under the theme of active participation and creativity, the event featured live music performances, creative workshops, youth-led stands and an artistic exhibition showcasing the talents and ideas of Malta’s younger generation.

The festival also provided young people with an opportunity to present their skills and projects to the public, while creating opportunities for networking, collaboration and greater community involvement.

Minister for Inclusion and Volunteering Julia Farrugia said investing in young people means investing in Malta’s future, adding that they should be given opportunities to play an active role in shaping their communities.
