The Parliamentary Secretary for Youth, Research, and Innovation, Keith Azzopardi Tanti, has announced the details of the “Youth Vision” event, taking place on Saturday, 6 September, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Youth Agency in Santa Venera. This initiative forms part of the public consultation for Malta Vision 2050.

The event will bring together young people aged 13 to 30, providing a platform for them to present proposals on the future of Malta by 2050. The programme will include interactive sessions where participants can share their ideas, as well as recreational activities such as a treasure hunt around Santa Venera, artistic exhibitions, and a concert by local Maltese artists.

Speaking during his address, Parliamentary Secretary Keith Azzopardi Tanti said,“Malta Vision 2050 is not just a document of goals; it is a collective journey aimed at building a sustainable economy, citizen-centred services, and an education system that guarantees a secure future. Young people are not only given a platform, but are recognised as key partners in shaping this vision. Your voices are crucial, and what you say will become part of the governance and monitoring process of Malta Vision 2050.”

The event will also provide participants with the opportunity to experience programmes and initiatives by the Youth Agency, including Stage On, Jump Start, Lights On, and the Lens of Change photography exhibition. The aim is for young people to contribute not only through ideas but also through creativity, science, and the arts.

The day will conclude with a concert by Maltese artists, alongside family-friendly activities and food and drink stalls, creating a festive community atmosphere.
