Youth Shares Video Seemingly Urinating Off Of Local Construction Site

Taking to social media, Swieqi Deputy Mayor Jordan Galea Pace shared a video of a youth accessing and seemingly urinating off of a local construction site.
The youth, seemingly accompanied by another individual, filmed the whole ordeal, with one instance showing one of them urinating off of the edge of the building under construction.
‘We have a system of action by police that is working very well’, said Galea Pace. ‘But if we do not change the image of Malta abroad, these things will continue to happen.’
‘One of the proposals I put forth with VisitMalta is to work with English and French influencers to send a message that the message is clear: that Malta has rules, standards and consequences.’
‘This week I was also pleased to see that, after action taken and social media push, Italian media like Rai 1 and Canale 5 reported what happened and the action we took as a country. This means the message is being carried on.’
‘It is not enough to act after the damage is done. We need to change the image, the type of tourists we attract and the message we give away from our shores.’
