Young Kai Donates Lucky Birthday Money to Children in Need

Six-year-old Kai has touched hearts after donating the €1,350 he received as lucky birthday money to The Malta Trust Foundation, in an effort to help children in need.

President Emeritus Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca shared details of the generous gesture following a meeting with the Said family in Ta’ Saura, describing the family as a great source of inspiration.

Coleiro Preca also revealed that Kai decided to donate the money he had received for his birthday after recognising that there are other children who need support.

Despite being only six years old, Kai is already showing strong values of compassion and solidarity, with his decision to give away his birthday money demonstrating a remarkable willingness to help others.

The former President praised the young boy for his generosity and thanked him for presenting the substantial donation to The Malta Trust Foundation.

She also expressed her gratitude to the Said family for raising their children with values centred around love and solidarity.

The gesture serves as a reminder that acts of kindness can come at any age, with Kai’s generosity helping support other children while setting an inspiring example for Malta’s younger generation.
