Speaking on Labour’s new podcast ‘Isma Dean’, Lydia Abela spoke about the anger she feels at how women are still viewed as the weaker gender in society.
This despite efforts to speak about the abuse, to bring in women into society and public service and laws being passed.
She remembered the late Paulina Dembska, who was murdered in 2022, and Pelin Kaya a year later.
With today being Women’s Day, Lydia said that despite all the effort, women are still viewed as the weaker gender and that more needs to be done to ensure not only the safety but also the thriving of women in society.
