World-Famous ‘DJ Priest’ Padre Guilherme To Headline Għaxaq Music Festival 2026

The Għaxaq Music Festival 2026 has announced a major international booking, with globally renowned artist Padre Guilherme set to headline the festival on Friday 24th July 2026.
Known worldwide as the “DJ Priest”, Padre Guilherme has gained international recognition for blending electronic music with messages of hope, unity and spirituality.
The Portuguese priest rose to global fame during World Youth Day in Lisbon in 2023, where he performed before a crowd of more than one million people.
His appearance at the festival will mark his first-ever live performance in Malta, bringing one of the world's most distinctive electronic music acts to local audiences.
Joining him on stage will be UK trance duo POU – Product of Us, alongside Maltese artists JJoy, Mux and Braynod.
The event forms part of the celebrations marking the 400th anniversary of the establishment of the Parish of Ħal Għaxaq, combining centuries of tradition with a modern musical experience.
Beyond entertainment, the festival will also support Embrace Diversity Organisation, with proceeds helping children and minors with disabilities.
Organisers are expecting one of the biggest nights of the summer, with tickets already on sale.
