World Cup Norway football fans were spotted doing the iconic rowing trend on the streets of Paceville, Malta.
The trend has gone viral as fans do it whenever the team is playing, paying homage to ancient Viking longship rowing.
The phenomenon allegedly began during Norway’s World Cup warm up matches in 2025, and was popularised by fan Ole Frøystad (known on Instagram as mr_rowrow).
Now, it’s made its way to Malta as fans gather to watch the matches and hope the best for their teams.
