Works Begin On Triq It-Tiġrija In Nadur

The Minister for Gozo and Planning, Clint Camilleri, has announced the start of infrastructure works on Triq it-Tiġrija in Nadur. This road forms part of a wider project involving a number of streets aimed at improving road quality and safety across Gozo. Works will also be carried out on Triq it-Tiġrija, Triq il-Qala and Triq San Blas in Nadur, as well as Triq il-Qala, Triq San Ġużepp and Triq l-Isqof Mikiel Buttigieg in Qala.

Minister Camilleri stated that the project will cover an area of approximately 18,790 square metres and will include several key interventions. These include the rebuilding of the road structure, new asphalt surfacing, improvements to pavements, upgrades to drainage and water systems, the introduction and enhancement of rainwater channels, as well as new road signage and markings.

He concluded by thanking the public for their co-operation and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to continue investing in modern and sustainable infrastructure in Gozo. He added that such projects are intended to improve residents’ quality of life while enhancing road safety.
