Woman Star World hosted its second annual Queens Lunch on 18 April 2026, bringing together Malta’s pageant titleholders for an afternoon centred on connection, visibility, and shared experience. Held at Mamachi, the event marked the return of a concept that is quickly establishing itself as a recurring moment within the local pageant and media calendar.

Originally introduced last year, the Queens Lunch was designed as a space where representatives from different international platforms could come together outside of competition. Rather than focusing on titles alone, the gathering encourages conversation, mutual support, and recognition of the individual journeys behind each crown.

This year’s edition welcomed a diverse group of titleholders representing Malta on the global stage. Among those present were Miss Grand Malta Natalia Galea, Miss Supranational Malta Hayley Ghiller, Miss Cosmo Malta Arina Balzan, and Miss World Malta Nicole Spiteri. They were joined by Mrs European Nations Classique Maria Camilleri, Mrs European Continent Classique Aida Andersson, and Mrs Malta Petite Kirstin Zahra Abrook, each bringing their own experiences and perspectives.

The event was organised by Woman Star World in collaboration with Hannelie van Wyk and Ekaterina Camilleri, both of whom continue to support initiatives that promote visibility and create meaningful opportunities for women in the pageant sphere.

Set in a refined yet welcoming environment, the afternoon placed emphasis on the people behind the titles. Conversations moved beyond competition, focusing instead on shared values, personal growth, and the realities of representing Malta internationally.

The Queens Lunch reflects a broader message that collaboration can sit alongside achievement. By bringing titleholders together in one setting, the event highlights the importance of community within a field often shaped by comparison.

As it continues to grow, the initiative is becoming a recognisable part of Malta’s cultural landscape, offering a platform where women are acknowledged not only for their titles, but for their individual stories and contributions.
