Woman Grievously Injured After Paragliding Incident In Ħad-Dingli

Yesterday, at around 6.30pm, the police were informed that their assistance was required in the area of Irdum tal-Iħfar, on Triq Panoramika in Dingli.
Police officers immediately went to the scene, where it emerged that a 21-year-old woman from the Czech Republic had fallen and sustained injuries while practising paragliding.
Members of the Civil Protection Department and a medical team were called to the scene without delay.
Together, they coordinated an operation to recover the victim from the cliffs and transport her to Mater Dei Hospital for further treatment.
She was later certified as having suffered serious injuries.
Police investigations are ongoing.
