Woman and Driver Grievously Injured After Motorcycle Collision In Gżira

Yesterday, at around 0745hrs, the Malta Police Force was informed that a traffic accident had taken place in Triq Mikiel Anton Vassalli, Gżira.
Police convened immediately on site and preliminary investigations found that a collision had taken place between a Kawasaki motorcycle driven by a 50 year old man resident of Fgura and a 24 year old woman resident of St Paul’s Bay who was crossing the same road.
A medical team was called on site and transported both of them to Mater Dei Hospital. They were later certified as having suffered grievous injuries.
Investigations are ongoing.
