According to Malta International Airport's Weather Forecast, today will be characterised by showers across the islands, with temperatures feeling around 18°C.

The MET office have issued an orange precipitation warning, cautioning people about potential moderate to heavy rainfall that is expected to hit the island in the coming hours.

The day will see a high of 18°C and a low of 12°C, while winds shift from south-easterly to south-westerly, remaining generally light to moderate. UV levels are expected to stay low.

Moving into Monday and Tuesday, conditions remain unsettled, with isolated showers forecast on both days.

Temperatures will stay stable, with highs of 18°C and lows of 12°C. Winds will be variable on Monday before strengthening slightly on Tuesday, blowing from the south-southwest to west-southwest at moderate to fresh force.

On Wednesday, Christmas Eve, the weather is set to improve, becoming partly cloudy with a slightly cooler feel of 17°C. Winds will continue from the west-southwest, and no significant rainfall is expected.

However, Christmas Day may bring a return of showers, with similar temperatures and moderate south-westerly winds. By Friday, conditions should stabilise once again, turning mainly cloudy with temperatures climbing back to 18°C.
