When Will It Be Okay For Men To Open Up, Asks Briefcase Man

In an emotional video shared on social media, The Briefcase Man, real name Gabriel Tonna, asked when it will be okay for a man to be able to open up without facing any stigma.
He asked the question in the context of six persons having died by suicide in the past two months in Malta. All of them, he said, were men.
Anyone one of them could have been a father, a brother, a school mate, a family member or a friend, he said.
“When a man opens up, you can tell from his tone that he is uncomfortable. It’s far more acceptable for a woman to open up. But this needs to stop now.”
He also opened up about young boys sending messages to him who felt better after watching a video of his.
“This is only through a video. Imagine if you were this person’s friend and were there for him when he needed.”
