Last night, Prime Minister Robert Abela gave a televised address to the Maltese nation following Labour’s win in the previous general election.

He explained how the Maltese population once again trusted the Labour Party to lead for a history fourth term, stating that this is a moment where Malta is “gaining strength” amid global instabilities.

“In the near future, we must keep the economic machine of our country working so we can implement the proposals and improve the wellbeing of you and your family,” continued Abela.

The regeneration of the Grand Harbour, Malta in Motion, energy improvement, healthcare, and developments for Gozo are just some of the promises Abela outlined in his speech.

“An ambitious programme, which my team and I will be capable of achieving together, so we can write the next chapter for Malta which we love,” stated Abela.

“Your dream is our project,” he concluded.”
