“We Need To Strengthen Values & Principles”, Says Minister Owen Bonnici

Minister for Accommodation and Lands Owen Bonnici has called for a strengthening of values and principles in Maltese society.
Bonnici said that certain values and principles that made Maltese society had started to become challenged: values such as solidarity with the vulnerable, respect for each other, the sense of community, sacrifice and more.
Saying that these are values that his dad used to constantly remind him of, Bonnici said that the Maltese need to remember that what makes a person principled and possess strong values is not what he has, but what they contribute to society.
These values helped our Maltese forefathers shape society and overcome big challenges, and we need to champion them once more.
