"We Can Only Take The Fire": Matthew Caruana Galizia Releases Hard-Hitting Statement After Protest

Following the protest which took place in solidarity with Daphne Caruana Galizia on the 16th of September, her son, Matthew, took to social media with a statement.
Matthew Caruana Galizia referred to a quote by Jean Cocteau, where when asked what he would save if his house was on fire, Cocteau shared that he would take the fire itself.
“From that car, we couldn’t save anything else. We can only take the fire,” stated Matthew, continuing the hard-hitting analogy.
In his statement yesterday, Matthew encouraged everyone to “keep the momentum” from the protest.
Last Wednesday, thousands filled the streets of Valletta, marching for justice.
