We are officially mid-way through summer 2026!
According to It-Temp Madwarna, 46 days have passed since June 21st and 46 days remain until the 21st of September.
The measurement is being taken astronomically according to the summer solstice and the autumn equinox, with the former seeing the longest day of the year and the latter the day and night being of equal length.
This last would mark the transition to autumn.
And since we’re speaking about the stars and planets, next week Malta will see a partial solar eclipse on Wednesday as the moon covers part of the sun. The full thing is set to be visible from Spain, western Iceland and eastern Greenland.
