VOLUNTEERS COMPLETE 14-MILE PUTTINU WALK IN LONDON

Yesterday, a group of dedicated volunteers successfully completed the annual Puttinu walk in London, covering an impressive 14 miles (23km) to support patients receiving treatment. Among them was Joe Vella, the person who began the Holy Week walk tradition in Malta, continuing his commitment to the cause even from abroad.
Romina Zammit, who usually volunteers with Puttinu Cares every Saturday, took the day off to join the London walk alongside her husband. The couple flew from Malta specifically to take part in this special event, demonstrating their dedication and support for the charity.
The walk started in front of the Puttinu apartments in Sutton and concluded at the new Puttinu building in Central London. Volunteers were cheered on as they tackled the final 5km, showing remarkable endurance and spirit.
The event highlighted the generosity and determination of volunteers who continue to give their time and energy to support patients and raise awareness for Puttinu Cares.
It was a true celebration of community, courage, and compassion.
