Virtu Ferries Warn Against Website Selling Fake Ferry Tickets

Virtu Ferries Ltd. issued a post warning customers of a scam selling fake Virtu Ferries tickets.

The scam tickets are emerging from a fraudulent website, with the official company saying that this website is not officiated with them in any way.

‘Tickets sold through this site are fake, and the prices and information displayed are false and misleading.’

‘Tickets purchased from the fraudulent website are not valid and will not be accepted for travel. Official booking channels: Virtu Ferries tickets can only be purchased through: the official website: www.virtuferries.com, or authorised agents and sales channels.’

Those affected have been urged to contact their bank or payment provider to immediately report the fraudulent transaction and seek a refund.

They have also been advised to report the matter to the police and to contact Virtu Ferries Ltd. directly so that legitimate bookings can be made.
