Victorio Gauci To Release New Single Higher This October 3rd

Maltese singer-songwriter Victorio Gauci is set to release his latest single Higher on Friday 3 October. Written and composed with fellow artist Emma Muscat and produced by Cyprian Cassar at Somnio Studios, the track is an uplifting piece that blends heartfelt lyrics with powerful production. Vocal production and engineering were handled by Keith Kiko Muscat at BIRTH Studios, ensuring a polished and emotional sound.

The song tells a story of rising from darkness and fear into strength and love. Its message centres on the importance of support, showing how the presence of another person can help overcome challenges and inspire resilience. Victorio described the track as deeply personal, saying it reflects his own experiences that have made him stronger.

Victorio has been a familiar name in Malta’s music scene for many years. He fronted his former band for over a decade, releasing two albums that featured award-winning singles. More recently, he competed in the Malta Eurovision Song Contest as part of the group JVF, which finished in fifth place with Festa (No Time for Siesta). Now, as a father of three with a full-time job, he is turning his energy toward his solo career, performing widely across the islands.
