Vet Clinic To Offer Emergency Services At Night, On Public Holidays

Speaking on programme ‘Bil-Fatti’, Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Animal Rights Anon Refalo announced that, starting January 26th 2026, an emergency veterinary clinic will be available out-of-hours.
This means that the clinic will be able to offer emergency services for pets on Sundays, public holidays and overnight.
The initiative, the Minister, will not require pet owners needing to call and check whether vets are available but can simply visit the centre in Fgura and receive the care their pets need.
The clinic will not affect the opening of the Ta’ Qali Animal Hospital, he emphasised when speaking to Times of Malta.
