Vehicle Catches Fire In Mellieħa Garage: CPD Put Down Flames

This morning, firefighters from Station 3 responded to a garage fire in Mellieħa.
Upon arrival, crews found an ICE vehicle on fire inside the garage. Firefighters wearing breasting apparatus entered the garage and carried out an operation to quell the flames and brought them under control.
Ventilation procedures were carried out to Clea the smoke, with the area being marked safe.
Civil protection thanked the emergency department team from Mater Dei Hospital and the Malta Police Force who helped in the operation.
