Valletta Set for Spectacular National NYE Celebration with John Newman & Local Talent

Valletta is gearing up for one of the biggest New Year’s Eve celebrations in Malta, with St. George’s Square once again at the heart of a night filled with live performances, entertainment and fireworks, while the Grand Harbour will shine with a breathtaking display.

Organised by the Valletta Cultural Agency with G7 Events and supported by the Ministry for the National Heritage, the Arts and Local Government and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Tourism, the evening will be hosted by Jamie Cardona, Ron Briffa and Taryn Mamo Cefai.

The celebrations begin with Glen Vella and his band, followed by the Palace String Orchestra performing alongside leading Maltese artists including Aidan Drakard, Denise, Gaia, Karin Duff, Keith Zammit Mintoff and Klinsmann.

As midnight gets closer, DJs Denzel Jo Armani and WYNE will raise the energy with this year’s biggest dance anthems, set against a gorgeous stage set-up and fireworks broadcast on local TV.

At the stroke of midnight, international star John Newman will take the stage. Known worldwide for massive tracks like 'Love Me Again' and 'Blame', his soulful voice and energy will set the tone for the entry into 2026.

The night will end with an upbeat closing set from DJ Gabii so the celebrations finish strong.
