According to Civixplorer, Valletta is the sunniest European capital, with an average annual 2,957 hours of sunshine.
The ranking charts the average annual number of sunshine hours over a 30 year period, with the sunny Mediterranean island taking the top spot.
It out-ranked Lisbon and Athens, which had 2,799 hours and 2,771 hours respectively.
The capital of Iceland, Reykjavík, registered the least amount of hours at 1,268, followed by London and Dublin at 1,410 and 1,424 hours respectively.
