US Aircraft Makes Emergency Landing After Taking Off From Malta Airport

An aircraft from the United States had to make an emergency landing after taking off from Malta International Airport.
On the morning of July 5th, De Havilland Canada Dash 8-300, N563AW, from the United States Department of State, callsign 'STATE50', took off normally from LMML, Malta International Airport.
A few minutes later it had to return after declaring an emergency off-Gozo.
‘On taxiing back to base, one can note one engine off, probably the culprit of this emergency issue. This emergency diversion was also flagged’, wrote Aviation MT.
