Up To 80 Reports Of Breach Of Public Peace In St Julian’s, Swieqi & Sliema In 2026

According to information tabled in parliament, there were 81 reports of breaches of public order and peace in 2026 in the localities of St Julian’s, Swieqi and Sliema.

The information for this year concerns up to 15th September 2026, with 37 reports from St Julian’s, 23 from Swieqi and 21 from Sliema.

In 2025, there were 97 reports, with 58 reported from St Julian’s, 22 from Swieqi and 17 from Sliema. There were 32 reports in 2024, with 34 from St Julian’s, 7 from Swieqi and 32 from Sliema.

These figures do not include complaints made by members of the public to the Police during patrols, direct phone calls to officers, or messages sent through WhatsApp or other means where police intervention takes place immediately following such reports.
