UK TEMPERATURES TO SURPASS MALTA AS WINTER ENDS WITH UNEXPECTED WARMTH

Some parts of the UK are set to experience surprisingly high temperatures this week, with certain areas reaching 19°C, warmer than popular holiday destinations such as Malta and Barcelona.
World-renowned news site Sky News highlighted the unusual situation, noting that abundant sunshine across southeastern England has made it particularly warm, with temperatures expected to reach 17–19°C in several locations.
While milder conditions will dominate Wednesday, cooler weather will move in from Thursday as stronger westerly winds bring cloud and rain to most areas, though the South East is likely to stay dry until after dark.
Meanwhile, Malta has recently experienced more UK-like weather, with a mix of clouds, wind, and occasional light rain. Sky News pointed out that this week, parts of the UK are set to be warmer than the Mediterranean island, an unusual turn as winter draws to a close.
