Two Women Arrested For Pick-Pocketing From People In Valletta

On Sunday afternoon, two women were arrested by the Malta Police Force in connection with a series of pickpocketing from persons in Valletta.
A police officer on foot patrol in the City Gate area was notified of the crime by a person who had just allegedly witnessed the theft from another woman.
The officer immediately approached and arrested the two women.
Following investigations, the women were arraigned in court yesterday morning and charged with a series of thefts of cash and other items. The women admitted to the charges brought against them.
The police has appealed to the public two remain vigilant and keep personal belongings secure.
