Two Vehicles Catch Fire In Ħaż-Żebbuġ

Firefighters from the Civil Protection Department's Fire Station 4 were called into action earlier today after a vehicle fire broke out in Żebbuġ.

Upon arriving at the scene, emergency crews found two vehicles fully engulfed in flames, an internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicle and an electric vehicle (EV).

A third vehicle parked nearby also sustained damage from the heat and fire.

Firefighters immediately launched operations to contain the blaze, working swiftly to prevent it from spreading further.

The fire was successfully brought under control and extinguished, with crews subsequently securing the area and ensuring there was no further risk to the public.

No injuries were reported during the incident.

The Civil Protection Department thanked the Malta Police Force and Transport Malta for their assistance and support throughout the operation.

The cause of the fire has not yet been disclosed. Authorities are expected to continue investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
