Two Motorcyclists With Grievous Injuries After Separate Accidents

Two men were transported to Mater Dei Hospital yesterday after two separate road accidents.
The first accident took place at around 0915hrs in Triq Andrea Debono, Naxxar.
Investigations showed that a crash between A Toyota Auris driven by a 40 year old woman resident of Naxxar and a Peugeot Django motorcycle driven by a 42 year old man resident of Naxxar.
The second incident took place at around 0950hrs, in Triq Reġjonali, Santa Venera.
Preliminary investigations showed that a Nissan driven by a 71 year old woman resident of St Paul’s Bay crashed into a Kawasaki driven by a 35 year old man resident of Swieqi.
The motorcyclists were both transported to Mater Dei Hospital, with both certified as having suffered grievous injuries.
