Two Men Arrested In Ħal Għaxaq For Suspected Cocaine, Heroin & Cannabis Trafficking

Yesterday, at around 1545hrs, while police were conducting surveillance in Triq id-Dejl, Ħal Għaxaq, they noticed two men who were acting suspicious in the area of the playground.
The men were stopped by the police and a search on their person and their vehicle yielded 70 packets of drugs suspected to be cannabis, 24 sachets of suspected cocaine and 16 other sachets of suspected heroin.
The two men, one aged 34 and from Ħamrun and the other aged 20 and from Ħal Qormi, were arrested and are expected to be arraigned in court today at around noon.
