Two Men Arrested For Drug Trafficking In St Julian’s

Surveillance in St Julian’s related to alleged drug trafficking led to the arrest of a 26 year old man resident of iż-Żurrieq and a 23 year old man resident of l-Isla.
The two were found to be in possession of various types of drugs. After inspections that took place yesterday morning, police noticed the two men in a Toyota Vitz acting suspiciously.
They were stopped in Triq Portomaso, and a search on their person and vehicle yielded various drugs suspected to be cocaine, heroin and cannabis, as well as some cash.
The men are being held in lockup in Floriana as investigations continue.
