Two Men Arrested For Alleged Synthetic Cannabis Trafficking

Yesterday, at around 1100hrs, police were conducting a routine inspection in Triq il-Marsa, Marsa when they noted a group of persons who raised suspicion.
The police stopped the persons and conducted searches on their person.
On one man, a Somali national aged 31 years old resident of Marsa, found 60 packets of drugs suspected to be synthetic cannabis.
On the other person, another Somali national aged 30 years old, they found 7 packets of the same substance along with an amount of money in cash.
The two were arrested and investigations are still ongoing.
