Two Maltese Complete US Coast Guard Command Course In Connecticut

Lieutenants Matthew Aquilina and Miguel Cauchi from the Maritime Squadron of the Armed Forces of Malta successfully completed the Prospective Commanding Officer/Prospective Executive Officer Afloat Course at the United States Coast Guard Academy in new London, Connecticut.
‘The course is designed to prepare future Commanding Officers and Executive Officers for leadership at sea, focusing on command philosophy, operational decision-making, bridge resource management, risk management, navigation, engineering readiness, personnel leadership, and the legal and administrative responsibilities associated with command’, the AFM explained.
