Two Injured In Separate Traffic Accidents: 12 Year Old Boy Among Injured

Yesterday, two persons were taken to Mater Dei Hospital after they got injured in two separate traffic accidents.

The first accident took place at around 1600hrs in Triq id-Dejma, Ħal Tarxien. Investigations showed that a crash had taken place between a Toyota Vitz driven by a 50 year old woman resident of Ħal Safi and a Janak motorcycle driven by a 69 year old man resident of Ħaż-Żabbar.

The second incident took place at around 1930hrs in Triq Sant’Anna, Floriana. Investigations showed that a crash had taken place between an Otokar Vectio bus driven by an 34 year old Indian man resident of Imsida and an e-kick scooter driver driven by a 12 year old boy.

A medical team assisted in both cases, with the motorcyclist and the boy transported to hospital. They were certified as having suffered grievous injuries.

More investigations are ongoing.
