Two Hikers Rescued After Getting Lost At Wied Babu, Żurrieq

Yesterday, Civil Protection Malta rescuers from Fire Station 1 conducted a rescue operation at Wied Babu, Żurrieq.
This came after a call for help of 2 individuals who could not find their way back while hiking in the valley.
CPD rescuers located the individual, and using rope rescue techniques managed to gain access to the individuals.
They were later guided to a safe area.
Well done all involved.
